Chosen of Asuryan Close-up photos

Well, I totally  forgot to post some more photos of my Chosen of asuryan High elf lord.
There are already in the gallery, but yeah, let's look at them one more time:D

High Elf Noble as a Secret Santa Christmas Gift

Welcome everybody!

There was no update since a long time, but I will show you what I did meanwhile.
Firstly, as we all know, Christmass is coming and as I previously mentioned, members organised a great event, which is making a christmass gift for some random chosem forum member.
I prepared my miniature for someone from USA, but I don't want to reveal his name so far, as it must be surprise:))
It was a quick paintjob (ok, took a long time because of breaks) but was an amazing pleasure to make something for someone;)
Have a look what I've made;)

I'm back from yesterday painting competition Hussar'13 which took place in Warsaw.
Great event, a loooooot of great works of art, truely Golden Demon level, maybe event higher in some categories.
My entry was my Chosen of Asuryan model with scenic base, now I can show you completed model;)
There were over 110 entries at Hussar, more then last year, so we can see a constant progress of skill, number of painters and their works as well as presence of our foreigner friends;)
I didn't even manage to get the honourable mention, but it clearly shows how strong the competitors were yesterday;)

Chaos Dwarf Lord

I'm preparing to the Hussar Painting Competition at the moment, but few days ago I finished (well, based;p) my Chaos Dwarf Lord. Model comes from Scibor Monstrous Miniatures, I really like it, as all Scibor's Dwarves. Sadly he has no elves;)
It is my second dwarf ever, but I enjoyed painting him.
This is my level 3+.

Check out some photos:

As some of you may know already, I’m working right now in Germany, that’s why I don’t have much time for painting, but soon my work is over here, I’m coming back to Poland and painting regularly.
Meanwhile, I found some time to finish my Caradryan model, aka Chosen of Asuryan.
Now I’m building a base for him.
Below you can see the first sketch, just my idea.
Right now there is some more work done already, but I’ll update it what I’ll come to painting.

Also, I’m working on my Secret Santa project.
Secret Santa – it’s an amazing event organised my forum members of, the community of High Elves funs. SS is a miniature exchange, 30+ members are preparing christmass gifts for a random selected user. I’ll not tell you where I’m going to send my SS gift, but I can share some photos with you;)

The base for my SS mini. It’s first time when I tried to make a waterfall effect, I’m quite satisfied;)
My idea was to place the high elf hero in the flowing river, let say ankle deep river.
The model itself is painted in 70% and as it’s a secret gift, I will not reveal yet more details;)

High Elf Mage

Firstly, sorry for small photo but I've got only this one at the moment.
This time I want to present you my old High Elf Mage from Mordheim.
Really nice, dynamic sculpt, this paintjob was done really quickly.
Painted in 2008 or 2009, I'm not sure right now;)

Another old project, painted in Mai 2007, level 3.
It was inspired by great paintjob of Alexiz.
Well, it was too long ago to remember any thoughts according this mini;))

Empire Warrior Priest

This is my version of Empire Warrior Priest model. Level 3
It was painted in June 2007.
I completely forgot that I painted that model, but few days ago I loggen in iinto my CMON account (first time since 3-4 years hehe) and I found some old paintjobs. That's why I want to share one of these with you;)

High Elf Lord, Chosen of Asuryan

High Elf Lord, Chosen of Asuryan, my personal tribute to my High Elves army. Level 4 One of my favourite and best models in my collection.Model itself was finished in August 2013. I need to make a proper base for this model, but atm I'm busy with another projects. I would like to finish this project before October and to participate in Polish well-known painting competition. I really enjoyed painting him! As all my elves;) A little bit unusual color scheme, but I wanted to give him more sinister appearance. I like it;))

Dwarf Lord

Dwarf Lord from Scibor Monstrous Miniatures, my level 4.
As you can see, I also used my blue NMM from Elf Lord to paint armour.

High Elf Lord ''Land stand of Asur''

High Elf Lord ''Land stand of Asur'', Level 4
This mini was painted in 2009 and was my best mini. I won a local painting competition in Poznan, Poland with him. I discovered then my new NMM armour colors scheme which I'm still using nowadays.
